Hi there!

Who we are looking for

  • Experience with PostgreSQL or any other RDBMS, including writing raw SQL.
  • Experience with NoSQL solutions like Cassandra or BigTable.
  • Knowledge of design principles and architectural patterns, especially event-driven, including hands-on experience with implementation based on Kafka/PubSub/SQS, etc.
  • Passion of unit tests.

They say there are no perfect candidates, but that might well be you, if you

  • You are familiar with CI using GitLab and delivery to k8s.

  • Have hands-on experience with Golang or be very willing to get it.

  • Used GCP and its services.

A bit about the team

You can get to know the team better at one of the interviews, but some brief information about future colleagues will be useful now.

The project has just kicked off, and we are looking forward to building a team of experienced and passionate developers. Our work process is based on kanban ideas, so we expect to find responsible and self-motivated team members. The team’s mission is to develop a service that will work as a communication layer between our users and all the products available in Semrush. Besides, we need to provide our Applications Development Teams with the right tooling to easily compose and send messages, meeting all their expectations about service functions and stability. All technical solutions for product growth and improvements are made inside the team, so it’s a nice chance to join the team at its early stage and make your personal impact on defining the project’s growth direction.

We will try to create all the right conditions for you to work and rest comfortably
